Phd student at the postgraduate program in visual arts (ppgart) at ufsm, cristina landerdahl is starting her sandwich doctorate period at the universidad complutense de madrid, where she will remain until the end of september. His thesis supervisor is tamara bueno doral, professor at the spanish institution and member of the museum I+d+c research group – digital culture and hypermedia museography laboratory. The collaboration between the two universities for the internship was signed by the supervisor, professor nara cristina santos, during a work mission in spain, in 2022, for the same project, with funding from the institutional internationalization program (print) of the personnel improvement coordination higher education (capes). The student receives a sandwich doctorate scholarship abroad from the capes/print program, a national notice that seeks the internationalization of brazilian universities through bilateral agreements, in order to build projects in collaboration with foreign researchers. Cristina landerdahl, who is the first ppgart student to complete a sandwich doctorate, is a member of the research laboratory in contemporary art, technology and digital media (labart). Her research encompasses the preservation and archiving of works dependent on digital technology.
